Hand-drawn
coloring pages
the people you serve
will actually use.
One drawing, two versions, one with thicker lines, so everyone at the table can color the same page, in the version that suits them. Print as many as you need.
$149 a year per location. New pages monthly. Money back in 30 days. Keep what you printed.

The pumpkin patch, Regular and Bold. Your first 6 pages are free.
Pumpkin Patch
Halloween without the fright: pumpkins, a witch hat, an owl at dusk.
Regular and Bold of every page, with a Story Starter on each. Included in every license.
Three steps.
6 free coloring pages
Enough for one coloring activity this afternoon: 6 drawings, each with a Story Starter, so there's something to talk about. Download now, yours to copy.
Watch what happens
Hand out a few pages, and while they color, read a Story Starter aloud. There's no right or wrong answer.
Keep it coming
$149 a year. The whole library opens the same day, and each month's new pages show up in time to plan your calendar.
Original, hand-drawn coloring pages.
Butterflies, gardens, cats, and a pack for every holiday from New Year to Christmas. Every pack is included in your license. Drawn for grown-ups; not a cartoon in the library.
Everyone colors the same drawing.
Regular and Bold are the same drawing, one with heavier lines. Staff pick the version that fits the person that day, and no one gets handed the easy page.

Regular version
The lines as drawn, every one of them, for a long, quiet sit. The place to start.

Bold version
The same lines, drawn heavier, with the smallest details cleared away. Thicker lines, fewer tiny spaces. Easier to see, easier to finish.
Pick the moment.
Six moments in your week, and what to print for each. Every one runs on a printer and the license. Nothing to buy, nothing to set up: print, hand out, read the question.

The activity table
One drawing, printed in Regular and Bold. Read the Story Starter, then let them color. 8 people, one picture, one conversation. Sign and date the ones they're proud of.

In someone’s room
5 Bold pages and a pencil, left within reach, for the person who doesn’t come to the table. Gentle encouragement, not pressure.

Before meals
A Bold page at every place before the meal, so the wait becomes something to do.

The family visit
The same drawing twice: Regular for the visitor, Bold for the person they came to see. Something to do together, and a conversation at the same time. Then it goes home.

The theme hour
6 pages on one theme, both versions, a Story Starter on each. That's a pack, and you have all of them.
The long afternoon
When the day gets long and restless: a Bold page, a familiar question, and a chair by the window before the light changes.
Why it works, in six studies.
The effects are modest and real. This is not a treatment. It is a good hour, reliably, at almost no cost. The point isn't a finished picture; it's an hour of feeling useful, with something to talk about.
Structured coloring lowers anxiety
Adults who colored a structured design after an anxiety induction showed a larger drop in anxiety than those given blank paper; replicated in 2012. Curry & Kasser, Art Therapy, 2005; van der Vennet & Serice, 2012. Why every page is a complete, bounded drawing.
A week of daily coloring moved mood
104 adults randomized to daily coloring or logic puzzles for a week; the coloring group showed lower depressive symptoms and anxiety, the puzzle group did not. Flett et al., Creativity Research Journal, 2017. Why the library is built for every day.
It holds up in adults 55 and over
A 2026 meta-analysis pooled randomized trials of mandala-based coloring and drawing in adults 55 and over: lower anxiety and lower depressive symptoms than controls, with a caution that the trials varied a lot. Frontiers in Psychology, 2026. Why the patterns stay in the library.
Talking about the past helps
The Cochrane review of 22 trials found reminiscence therapy has small but real benefits for quality of life, cognition, communication, and mood in dementia, widest in care homes. Woods et al., Cochrane, 2018. Why the pages come with Story Starters.
Contrast does the work
Faint lines are hard to see for many people living with dementia. When 9 men in long-term care were served on high-contrast red plates instead of white, they ate 25% more and drank 84% more; pastel plates did nothing, so it was the contrast, not the color. Raising the contrast of printed letters brought visual processing in Alzheimer's back toward normal. Dunne et al., Clinical Nutrition, 2004; Gilmore et al., Vision Research, 2005. Why Bold exists: heavier lines, less clutter, more contrast.
Meeting people where they are reduces agitation
In the tailored-activity trials, activities matched to preserved abilities reduced agitation and repetitive questioning and lowered caregiver burden. Gitlin et al., 2008; later trials 2018–2021. Why staff pick the version for the person.

A note to start the conversationColoring pages, before Tablewell
- Searching and searching for pages that aren't childish.
- Pages that are way too busy, or too light to see.
- Someone who won’t join, and nothing to put in front of him.
Coloring pages, after Tablewell
- One library of grown-up drawings, print as many as you need.
- Regular and Bold of every one: the same picture, one with thicker lines.
- A Story Starter on each: something to talk about while they color.
Our promise to you
Money back in 30 days, and you keep what you printed. The pages either work for the people you serve or they don’t, and you'll know in one afternoon: hand out a Regular and a Bold, read a Story Starter, and watch. If the person who never joins picks up a page, you'll know. If the room doesn't change, you shouldn't pay, and you won't.
Why $149? Because it fits in an activity supply budget, so you can decide this afternoon, and it's enough to keep new pages coming every month. Every page here is original and hand-drawn, in Regular and Bold.Mike Henry, Fort Collins
