Everyone colors the same drawing.

Every drawing comes in Regular and Bold, so the whole table colors the same picture. Staff pick the version that suits each person that day.

  • Regular: every line and detail, for a long, quiet sit. The place to start.
  • Bold: the same drawing with thicker, darker lines and fewer tiny details. Easier to see, easier to finish.

A Story Starter on every page

Each page has a question to read aloud while they color. There's no right or wrong answer.

Read the Story Starter once, slowly, then wait longer than feels comfortable. Never correct a memory.

One price covers your whole location.

$149 a year per location. Nothing else to buy.

Why $149? It fits an activity supply budget and keeps new pages coming every month.

  • Hundreds of pages, every drawing in Regular and Bold, with a pack for every season.
  • New pages every month.
  • Unlimited copies within your location, for any number of staff.
  • Invoice net 30, purchase orders welcome.

How to run it

Three steps, about an hour

  1. Print both versions of the same drawing, Regular and Bold, on plain letter paper.
  2. Hand out a page or two to each person, wherever they are: the table, a lounge chair, a bedside.
  3. Read the Story Starter aloud while they color. Then wait.

Bold has thicker lines and fewer tiny details, easier to see and easier to finish. Everyone colors the same picture.

Questions

Good to know

How do I run a coloring activity?

Print the same drawing in Regular and Bold, and hand pages out wherever people are, even at a bedside. Read the Story Starter once, slowly, then wait longer than feels comfortable. Never correct a memory. Sign and date the ones they're proud of.

Which version should each person get?

Choose by the person and the day. Regular suits a long, quiet sit. Bold has thicker, darker lines and fewer tiny details, so it's easier to see and finish. Same picture either way, so no one gets "the easy page."

When do new pages arrive?

On the 1st of each month, in time for next month's calendar. One email that morning lists what's new.

Will people find it childish?

We draw for adults: gardens, cats, lighthouses, sailboats, teacups. There's not a cartoon in the library.

Can we show a page on our activity calendar or newsletter?

Yes, in print: calendars, newsletters, bulletin boards, and handouts. The license doesn't cover posting pages publicly online, including social media.
